Kandis Koustenis is a senior associate in the firm's New York office and a member of its trademark, unfair competition and copyright practice group. Ms. Koustenis has over 15 years of experience in litigation and related counseling in trademark and trade dress, copyright, false advertising, and other unfair competition matters. Ms. Koustenis has substantial experience practicing before the federal courts, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureau (NAD). In addition to her litigation and general counseling work, Ms. Koustenis directs foreign and domestic trademark clearance, prosecution and portfolio management.
From 1991-1992, Ms. Koustenis was law clerk to Judge Cacheris of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia in Alexandria, Virginia.
