Siegrun D. Kane has specialized in trademark and unfair competition law for more than 35 years. Mrs. Kane is the author of Trademark Law: A Practitioner's Guide, published by the Practising Law Institute. Now in its fourth edition, the text covers substantive and procedural aspects of trademark law, including tips on litigation strategy. The book is updated annually with forms and color exhibits. Mrs. Kane is a frequent lecturer for PLI, the American Bar Association and other continuing legal education organizations. She also is a member of the Bureau of National Affairs; Patent, Trademark and Copyright Journal Advisory Board; McCarthy Center for Intellectual Property and Technology Law at the University of San Francisco; and the International Trademark Association Panel of Neutrals. Her practice includes expert consulting and testifying. She has been named one of the Best Intellectual Property Lawyers in America in the Intellectual Property Almanac from 1997-2005, and one of The Best Lawyers in America.
