John C. Vassil has practiced intellectual property law since 1958. He has been with Morgan & Finnegan since 1961, and has served on the firm’s Executive Committee. Mr. Vassil’s experience includes counseling and litigation in all phases of intellectual property law, with an emphasis in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields. He has appeared extensively before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, as well as before many state and federal courts. Mr. Vassil also has served as an arbitrator and mediator in commercial and intellectual property disputes. He is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York, and also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Second Circuit and other federal courts throughout the country.
