MORGAN AND FINNEGAN PREPARES AMICUS BRIEF IN U.S. SUPREME COURT IN LAB CORPORATION OF AMERICA V. METABOLITE LABS INC.

Morgan & Finnegan filed an amicus brief on behalf of IBM in the case of Lab Corporation of America v. Metabolite Labs Inc. This case is pending before the United States Supreme Court. The Court is considering the issue of subject matter appropriate for patenting. This case could have important ramifications for business method and medical diagnostic method patents.
